Malana Valley
Kaliram Hashplant
The owner of the most inviting and colourful field of Nirang, Kali Ram has always been fascinated by extraordinarily resinous and faded plants. His first name “Kali” literally translates to the “colour black” in Hindi and this has inspired him since a long time to make selections of plants that express dark colours, which has resulted in the creation of the kali ram hashplant. Most phenotypes display a full dark fade on the whole plant and are super resinous
Nirang General Population
Nirang is situated right opposite Malana village on the mountain top. This place is completely cut-off from Malana village, nobody reaches here but the farmers. It is the home to many unique phenotypes with truly exotic terpenes, colours and copious resin. These plants tend to grow vigorously, yield high when planted systematically and fed appropriately.
Wailing General Population
The trek to Wailing from Malana is of a steep 7 kilometres. This valley is covered in snow for 5 months. Surrounded by lush green pine forests, this valley experiences extensive rainfall rest of the year. The plants found here show a unique hollow stem phenomenon and display nice purple/ blue fades when the flowering cycle ends. With dense flowers and big trichomes these plants are ideal for both, smoking as flowers or making hash.
Wailing Farmer's Select High-Yield
The trek to Wailing from Malana is of a steep 7 kilometres. This valley is covered in snow for 5 months, its surrounded by lush green pine & cedar forests and experiences extensive rainfall rest of the year (7 months). This special selection has been gifted to us by a Wailing valley farmer and is mainly focused on high yielding, enormous flower structured plants. The farmers commitment towards appropriate usage of his growing area and to maximise yields has fuelled the development of this strain.
Waichin General Population
Waichin, once a humdrum valley, now an emerging tourist hub is situated 6 kilometers further from the Malana village. This area is much colder than the rest of sub villages as it faces the forever snow clad Devroopa mountain. The landrace plants of this area are super sturdy, grow vigorously and some phenotypes display major anthocyanin production (Purple Fade).
Waichin Purple
There are numerous phenotypes in the Waichin general cannabis population which display variations of Purple fades but only certain phenos are present with abundant anthocyanin production, that go fully purple/pink or black. These fully faded purple-black phenos were precisely selected by our team to collect the Waichin Purple P1 seed stock.
Toshku
Toshku falls in the midway of Malana to Waichin valley and is geographically positioned in such a unique way where sunlight hours are lesser than any sub village in the whole valley. It is surrounded by high peaks on all sides which block the sunlight from reaching and is home to a small Waterfall coming from Chanderkhani Top. The plants here get lesser sunlight and endure more cold, which makes them flower slightly longer and produce more colours and resin.
